Our company's Chairman Professor Shi Yuanyuan, Chief Scientist Professor Wang Jianxun, Deputy General Manager Tang Xiaomeng, Department Head Tang Hui from the Ministry of Commerce, and medical expert Jia Haitao from the Precision Medicine Department warmly received them and held a symposium.
Accompanied by Professor Shi Yuanyuan, the visiting leaders visited the smart exhibition hall and GMP production workshop of Shenzhen Cell Valley, and had a preliminary understanding of the development history, construction status, strategic planning and core products of Shenzhen Cell Valley.
At the symposium, Professor Shi Yuanyuan warmly welcomed the visiting leaders and provided an in-depth introduction to Shenzhen Cell Valley's strategic layout in the field of cell therapy. He emphasized that the company's collaboration with Shenzhen Hospital of Southern Medical University to establish a cell therapy translational research institute, along with its deep strategic partnerships with authoritative institutions such as the National Engineering Research Center for Key Common Technologies in the Cell Industry, aims to create a full-cycle service platform covering vector design, cell production preparation, clinical application, and regulatory services. This platform is dedicated to providing comprehensive support for the innovative development of the cell therapy industry. Professor Shi also mentioned that thanks to strong support from the Qianhai Free Trade Zone government, Shenzhen Cell Valley's wholly-owned subsidiary —— Shenzhen-Hong Kong Cell Valley has successfully settled in Qianhai Dream Factory and is expected to be fully operational within two months. The Shenzhen-Hong Kong Cell Valley will serve as the core headquarters for Cell Valley Group's international business and medical services, focusing on providing high-end cell and gene therapy services to B-end and C-end clients in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Southeast Asia, and the Americas, aiming to further enhance the company's global market influence. Minister Zhao Yupeng introduced at the symposium that Dalian Jinpu New Area, as the first national-level new area in Northeast China and a top 100 industrial district nationwide, shoulders significant strategic missions. The new area's strategic positioning is "One Base, One Pole, Three Zones": serving as a strategic highland for Northeast China's opening-up cooperation with Japan and South Korea markets, a key growth pole leading the comprehensive revitalization of Northeast China, and a pioneer zone for transforming development models in old industrial bases, demonstrating institutional innovation and independent innovation, and advancing new urbanization and coordinated urban-rural development. Jinpu New Area boasts unique advantages for comprehensive development, including a fully functional open hub, a modern industrial base with concentrated strengths, a well-connected transportation network, and a culturally inclusive environment. The visit to Shenzhen Cell Valley aims to conduct in-depth field research and discussions, seeking to introduce advanced cell therapy technologies from the valley. By collaborating with top-tier hospitals such as Dalian University of Technology Affiliated Hospital and Dalian Medical University Affiliated Hospital, the initiative seeks to establish a Northeast Asia cell therapy hub. This partnership will drive further development in high-tech industries between the two regions, fostering coordinated economic growth through regional collaboration.
